3LIT3 vs Hotmart vs Kajabi: which online course platform suits a Spanish-speaking creator?

If you sell training in Latin America or Spain, the platform you choose determines how much you lose in fees, how many students abandon checkout, and how much brand you build for yourself vs. the platform. We compare the three most-searched options among Spanish-speaking creators in 2026.

Local payments

Webpay, Mercado Pago, PIX, OXXO — no forced USD.

White-label branding

Your own App with your own domain, not a subdomain of the platform.

0% currency friction

The student pays in their currency. The creator receives without conversion.

The dollar problem in LATAM

Kajabi charges in US dollars. For a student in Chile, Mexico, or Argentina, this means: currency conversion, an international card surcharge (between 3% and 8%), possible rejection by the issuing bank, and anxiety at seeing a USD charge. The industry-known result: up to 40% of checkouts abandoned compared to the same offer charged in local currency.

Hotmart improves this with partial support for local currencies, but charges a 9.9% + VAT commission on every sale, plus withdrawal fees. On a $10,000 USD/month business, that's ~$1,200 USD that never reaches your account.

3LIT3 integrates Webpay (Chile), Mercado Pago (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia), PIX (Brazil) and Stripe for EUR/USD. The student pays in their currency, the creator receives in theirs, and the fee is flat — not a percentage of each sale.

Your own brand vs. the platform's brand

On Hotmart, your student buys at hotmart.com/your-course. They see the Hotmart logo at checkout, in the player, and in transactional emails. When they search for your course on Google, they find other competing offers on the same platform.

On Kajabi you can use your own domain, but the player, community, and mobile App remain generic and in English.

On 3LIT3, your student downloads your App (your logo, your colors, your typography), goes to your-brand.com and sees only your content. They never see IANOVA. This is what we call a "tech home": the platform is invisible.

When does each one make sense?

  • Hotmartif you sell one-time info-products to a broad Spanish-speaking audience and don't need community or your own App. Its affiliate network is its big advantage.
  • Kajabiif your audience is mainly US-based or European, you charge in dollars, and you already earn five figures a month to offset the $149+ USD/month.
  • 3LIT3if you're a Spanish-speaking creator with recurring subscriptions (membership, mentoring, community), want your own white-label App, and need to charge in local currency without losing a percentage on every sale.
